Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Line (NKTL)

A green energy
inter-state transmission
corridor project

Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited is executing a green energy inter-state transmission corridor project envisaged by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

An SPV was acquired by Sterlite Power in December 2023 from PFC Consulting Ltd (A wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Ltd) for implementation of this vital transmission project in the state of Rajasthan and Haryana. The project has been envisaged to evacuate renewable power from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Ph-IV (Part-1) (Bikaner Complex).

Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited will build this green energy project on a BOOT (Build, Operate, Own, Transfer) basis, for a period of 35 years. The project involves the development of two critical components: a 6,000 MVA, 765/400kV substation at Neemrana and two 400 kV transmission lines covering approximately 250kms.
